Key
Responsibilities:
Being a team oriented and
motivated member in the Pressure Vessels Team focusing for project execution in
the field of Static Equipment including inspections, expediting and equipment
optimization considering CAPEX and OPEX.
- performs
design tasks within Static
Equipment discipline
as one of several disciplines involved in designing plants for petrochemical or
refinery industry. Size of the performed projects could extend from feasibility
study to turnkey construction of large plants, which are built worldwide,
- participates
in project executions including guide drawings preparation, inquiry
preparation, bid comparison, review of vendors' workshop documentation,
expediting,
- participates
in technical inspections,
- supervises
the erection work, participates in pre-commissioning , commissioning, start-up,
- coordinates
design works with other departments, e.g. piping, civil,
instrumentation, electric, etc. in order to incorporate the static equipment in
the overall plant design,
- coordinates
the verification of project documentation with respect to its completeness and
accordance with standards, branch regulations and contract requirements,
- creates
and controls the development of branch know-how: standards, instructions,
catalogues, computer applications.
Requirements:
- Master's
degree in Mechanical Engineering,
- minimum 3 years
of experience in engineering,
- basic
knowledge of pressure vessels mechanical design and general knowledge of codes
- fluent
in Polish and English, knowledge of German / Russian or
other languages would be appreciated,
- the
candidate should be familiar with international Standards, such as API,
DIN/ISO, PED, ASME, EN etc.,
- open-minded
for matching the key requirement of the global static equipment engineering
discipline,
- willingness
to participate aside the "normal job" in additional personnel qualifications
(e.g. welding engineer),
- very
good computer skills, knowledge of applications such as MS Office, ACAD,
- willingness
to travel and to work for some time abroad (work place is Kraków, but can be
also in the Lurgi Frankfurt headquarter or any of affiliates or job sites),
- multi-cultural
attitude,
- high
interpersonal skills.
